Intern – Environmental Sustainability (Based at MDS, Ratmalana) MAS Intimates, the largest division of MAS Holdings, provides design and manufacturing solutions for leading global lingerie brands. With design hubs in Hong Kong, London, and Sri Lanka, and manufacturing facilities across Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, and Kenya, it offers a diverse product portfolio, including bras, briefs, shapewear, performance wear, sleepwear, and wearable tech. Intimates’ customers include Victoria’s Secret, Gap, and Calvin Klein. The division's innovation teams collaborate with universities and experts to deliver consumer-driven, technology-led solutions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Identifying key social and environmental issues for company initiatives. Helping plan, coordinate, and execute CSR initiatives across plants. Collecting and analyzing data to track project progress and impact. Facilitating communication between plants and the central team on initiatives. Assisting in preparing reports on CSR performance. Providing general administrative help, including scheduling meetings and maintaining documentation. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Undergraduate degree in Social Work, Sociology, Project Management, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge and understanding of social sustainability concepts, project management, and data analysis. Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. A passion for social change, sustainability, and making a positive impact in communities.
Responsibilities
