Duration: 6 months Deadline: 16 June 2026 Starting date: July/August 2026 Location: Songdo, Incheon City, Republic of Korea Remuneration: US$ 1,600/month About the Green Climate Fund (GCF) Set up in 2010 by the 194 countries who are Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), GCF takes its responsibility as the world’s largest dedicated multilateral climate fund to heart. GCF funds transformative climate projects across the developing world, supporting countries in their responses and actions to tackle climate change while fostering sustainable development within their communities. Our country-driven approach ensures that our actions are tailored to the unique circumstances and national aspirations of each nation we support. Besides channeling public and private sector investment through a broad range of financing instruments, GCF builds the capacity of developing countries to take climate action through an extensive Readiness Programme ensuring countries are increasingly well-equipped and financed to manage their climate futures. Headquartered in the Republic of Korea, GCF operates with a diverse and talented workforce of over 300 people. Internship Assignment The Intern will support core finance and administrative functions within DFC, gaining exposure to project management, budgeting, and accounting processes. This role offers hands-on experience in financial operations, compliance, and stakeholder engagement. Under the overall guidance of the designated primary and alternate supervisors within the DFC , the Intern is expected to: * Project Support: Document and coordinate DFC projects, maintain records, and follow up as needed. * Budget Planning: Gather, consolidate, and update data for the 2027–2029 budget; assist with logistics and admin for the core team. * General Finance Operations: * Process AP (verify invoices, track payments). * Check travel and expense claims for compliance. * Help reconcile GL accounts. * Research industry benchmarks and regulations. * Administrative Support: Assist finance leaders with document management, data entry, and ad-hoc tasks. Requirements and qualifications * Enrolled in Master’s program in business, finance or related fields; * Knowledge and experience with investments, financial institutions and/or accounting * Good understanding and experience in operations of international organization is an added advantage; * Proficiency in using standard software programs: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access; * Excellent writing and presentation skills; * Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of another United Nations language, in particular French and Spanish, and/or Portuguese is an advantage. *The person assessed by the Selection Panel as most suitable for the position will be proposed for appointment. The above criteria should be seen as indicators of the experience and skills that would qualify candidates for consideration. Selection among short-listed candidates will also take into account performance at interview, appropriate testing, and references. Responsibilities

The intern will support core finance and administrative functions, including project coordination and budget planning for 2027–2029. Key tasks involve processing accounts payable, reconciling general ledger accounts, and providing general administrative support to finance leaders.
