Team Overview:
The Government Affairs (GA) plays a key role in ensuring the company operates within the evolving regulatory landscape. Our work is essential in minimizing business risks while supporting key verticals. The team actively engages with government entities, industry stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to advocate for fair policies and provide strategic insights.
As a GA Intern, you will support our administrative actions in the Andean Region (Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador) by conducting in-depth research, tracking regulatory developments, and collaborating with internal teams to align business strategies with emerging policies.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze regulatory risks that could impact DiDi’s business operations.
  • Prepare weekly reports for internal teams, synthesizing regulatory developments and stakeholder activities.
  • Support team meetings by managing schedules, taking notes, and ensuring follow-ups on key action points.
  • Track legislative proposals and industry regulations in Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador.
  • Extract and analyze data from national publications, official gazettes, and government announcements.
  • Provide updates on mobility restrictions and regulatory changes through internal communication channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align actions with business objectives.
  • Schedule and facilitate weekly collaborative team meetings, tracking tasks and follow-ups.
  • Update and maintain records.
  • Regulatory Research & Monitoring:
  • Track legislative proposals and policy discussions relevant our services.
  • Research government announcements and media reports.
  • Analyze policy trends using sources such as national congresses, government portals, and Alianza In.

Role Qualifications:

  • A background in Political Science, International Relations, Law, Economics, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and research skills to monitor and interpret policy changes.
  • A keen interest in public affairs, government relations, and digital platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiarity with data analysis tools.
