Description
Key Responsibilities Assist in gathering, cleaning, and analysing operational, plant, and business data. Support development of models, dashboards, and data-driven tools to unlock value across upstream, downstream, and corporate functions. Conduct research on digital and analytics trends relevant to operational excellence, energy efficiency, sustainability, and process optimisation. Capture data accurately, maintain documentation, and support data validation workstreams. Attend meetings with internal stakeholders and assist in preparing materials or taking minutes when required. Contribute to both ongoing and upcoming digital initiatives across the department. Support ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisors related to analytics, solution testing, or reporting. What we are looking for Curious, eager-to-learn mindset with strong interest in industrial data, process optimisation, and digital innovation. Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders from different backgrounds. Basic experience in coding (Python preferred), data processing, and building analytical models. Familiarity with dashboarding tools such as Power BI, Streamlit, Dash, or equivalent. Ability to think critically, solve problems, and explore data creatively to derive meaningful insights. Requirements Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field. Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals, data visualisation, and statistical techniques is an advantage. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with guidance from supervisors.
