Intern - Garment Technology (Based at MAS Activewear - Katunayake) The Activewear Value Stream delivers high-performance sportswear and athleisure solutions designed for technical functionality, durability and everyday versatility— serving sports, lifestyle and performance segments. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Ensure effective communication between bonding team, tech team, customer & suppliers. * Conduct Bonding Project to develop Machines, Attachments, Process & Operations * Machine Design and drawing, Development, Modification & Automation KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS * University degree/ Diploma in Textile Engineering or Chemical Science with GCE Advanced Level * Having experience in the field of bonding will be added advantage. * Sound knowledge in machine & construction/ garment manufacturing process. * Team player with good analytical & communication skills
Responsibilities
The intern will facilitate communication between the bonding, tech, and supplier teams while conducting bonding projects. Responsibilities include the design, development, and automation of machines and attachments.
