Description
Intern ‐ Human Resources (Based at MAS Fabric – Matrix - Thulhiriya) MAS Matrix, is a diversified flat-knit apparel manufacturing facility under MAS Holdings. Matrix houses 1000 Stoll flatbed machines offerings athleisure wear, performance wear, essentials and knit components for global brands such as Nike, Decathlon, Gymshark, Lacoste, Victoria's Secret and Stoko. Changing business dynamics prompted Matrix to explore innovative product solutions that go beyond the traditional realm of sweaters, launching its latest product platform, MVTM, a collection of highly functional, versatile, and fashion-forward designs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Assist the HR team with recruitment and selection activities, including posting job vacancies, screening CVs, and scheduling interviews * Support employee onboarding and orientation programs for new employees * Maintain and update employee records, personal files, and HR documentation * Assist in preparing HR reports, attendance records, and employee data using Microsoft Excel and HR systems * Support the coordination of training and development programs for employees * Assist in organizing employee engagement programs, welfare activities, and internal events * Help monitor employee attendance, leave records, and time management systems * Support HR staff in implementing HR policies, procedures, and company guidelines * Provide administrative support to ensure smooth daily HR operations * Assist with employee communication and internal HR announcements * Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives * Support the HR team in maintaining confidentiality and proper handling of employee information * Assist in data entry, HR analytics preparation, and report generation when required * Coordinate with other departments to support HR-related administrative tasks   KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS * An undergraduate in Human Resource Management * Team working skills * Communication and negotiation skills
