Description

Firmware Engineering Responsibilities: * Serve as a team member within the New Product Development Engineering group providing embedded software testing and design support for new and existing medical devices * Conduct product verification testing and generate test reports * Integrate and troubleshoot embedded software within hardware platforms Qualifications: * Education: Pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science * Possess a solid foundation in computer science theory, with emphasis in programming * Experience with ANSI C or C++ programming language * Fundamental knowledge of circuit design * Strong communications skills, both written & verbal * Familiarity with the MS office applications * Pluses: 1. Working knowledge of real time operating systems 2. Experience with .NET, Labview, or Delphi

Responsibilities

The intern will provide embedded software testing and design support for medical devices and conduct product verification testing. They will also integrate and troubleshoot embedded software within hardware platforms.
