Job Functions: Job functions include, but are not limited to, the following: Analyze procurement and supply chain data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and performance metrics. Contribute to the implementation of GPI’s AI strategy for supply chain Participate in improvement initiatives by documenting workflows and recommending enhancements. Support communication with suppliers to maintain strong vendor relationships. Conduct benchmarking to support sourcing decisions and supplier evaluations. Other duties as assigned Key Competencies: Ability to work independently or in team environment, maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment Clear written and verbal communication skills Strong technical and analytical skills, with ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and develop business solutions Willingness to learn and adapt Exhibit change management and transformation leadership skills Demonstrate ability to collaborate and gain support from key stakeholders A Supply Chain Management professional that embraces the GPI corporate vision and core values Qualifications: Second year and above student pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management 3.0 or higher GPA Strong record of accomplishment and an aptitude for root cause problem solving techniques Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing & Supply Chain Value Stream Mapping tools and methodologies Proficient with Excel, PowerBI, Qlik or other analytics tools is highly valued Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus Work Authorization: US Citizen, Permanent Resident (U.S.) Work Environment: Sitting or standing for extended periods of time (up to 8-hours). Occasional lifting (up to 20 lbs). Extended reading computer screen or other electronic devices. Generally, your schedule is an 8-hour M-F assignment; however, internship experience might involve extracurricular, “get out in the world” activity. You may work alternate schedules occasionally if needed Travel: Occasional overnight travel that could include flying or driving.
