Job Description We are looking for a motivated Intern in Investment Management & M&A to support our team for 4–6 months, preferably starting before July. In this role, your responsibilities will include: Support experienced Investment Managers in the day-to-day activities to assist in the financial evaluation and execution of M&A opportunities (sell- and buyside) and own developments for technologies such as wind, BESS as well as conventional generation (Support to) create project-specific financial assessments (discounted cash flow) based on financial models in Excel for both M&A opportunities and own development pipeline Research, analyze and present valuation results, market data, and transaction information with help of AI tools to support the decision makers Support in every stage of an M&A process, both buy and sell-side: transaction management, marketing materials, offer preparation, due diligence, decision papers, pre- and post-closing activities Qualifications Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Engineering, or a related field Previous experience in valuation, M&A, consulting, controlling through internships or similar is advantageous Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint Good command of the German and English languages Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive mentality.
