Description
Design, develop, test and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis and production coordination. Provide lean manufacturing solutions for customer or process specific production such as lead time reduction, single piece flow & pull systems. Support Short & Long range capacity Planning such as Kinaxis Rapid Response Capacity Software Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency, using drafting tools and computer. Study operations sequence, material flow, and project information to optimize manufacturing operations. Analyze production data (cycle times, flow) to identify inefficiencies. Generate performance reports and visualizations. Execute your ideas and solutions with engineers and production staff through influential leadership Modify & improve workstations & Material Deployment solutions to optimize production work cells. Student working towards a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering for the entire duration of internship. Experience in AutoCAD or Draftsite Experience in Google Applications Sohmore or Junior level status GPA: 3.0 or higher is preferred Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills Strong communication skills
