Intern ‐ Industrial Engineering Based at Unichela (Private) Limited ‐ Casualline Division, Mawathagama   The Bodywear Value Stream of MAS Holdings delivers end-to-end design, innovation and manufacturing solutions across lingerie, swimwear and next-to-skin categories. Positioned as a global centre of excellence, the Bodywear Value Stream combines advanced product innovation, technology-led solutions and operational scale to meet evolving consumer expectations across intimate and swim categories.   Key Responsibilities:  * Ensure adherence to compliance, health and safety procedures during the entire physical/chemical testing processes to maintain zero accidents. * Align with projects relating to MOS (MAS Operating System) to achieve the required standards.   * * Prepare layout, Yamazumi version 1 and machine setting STW.   * Continuously look for ways to reduce machine requirement for layouts and ensure machines available for production.   Knowledge and Skills: * Undergraduate or Graduate in any Engineering degree. * GSD License certification. * Strong analytical skills with an innovative mindset. * Knowledge on industrial engineering. * 2 years of experience in manufacturing plants. * Strong & excellent communication, leadership skills, and interpersonal skills. * People management skills. * Knowledge on Lean Manufacturing tools.
Responsibilities
The role involves ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures during testing and aligning with MAS Operating System projects. Key tasks include preparing layouts, Yamazumi versions, and optimizing machine requirements for production.
