⁠Intern – Industrial Engineering (Based at MDS, Ratmalana) MAS Intimates, the largest division of MAS Holdings, provides design and manufacturing solutions for leading global lingerie brands. With design hubs in Hong Kong, London, and Sri Lanka, and manufacturing facilities across Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, and Kenya, it offers a diverse product portfolio including bras, briefs, shapewear, performance wear, sleepwear, and wearable tech. Intimates’ customers include Victoria’s Secret, Gap, and Calvin Klein. The division’s innovation teams collaborate with universities and experts to deliver consumer-driven, technology-led solutions. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the creation and optimization of folders used in sewing operations. Assist in minor machine adjustments to improve productivity and reduce downtime. Support data collection for motion and time studies to improve line balancing. Track and report operator performance against SMV benchmarks. Maintain accurate records of folder trials, SMV studies, and mechanical observations. Knowledge and Skills: Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Textile/Apparel Engineering. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Interest in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles. Good communication and teamwork skills. Passion for learning and innovation in the apparel manufacturing domain.
