Intern – Industrial Engineering
(Based at Bodywear - Rathmalana)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Preparing database & assisting with department ongoing projects.
* Support team to carry out the activities in the critical path of the factory
integration and quick changeover process to minimize bucket loss in the
production.
* Support team to conduct Yamazumi and implementing special projects (dancing
module, chassis base planning, machine uberization, continuous flow, Lean
phase out) for the assigned modules to generate expected business results.
* Ensure compliance with the defined governance framework including upholding
the MAS DNA, following group policies & procedures, best practices relevant
laws & regulations and undertake every necessary action to comply with the
governance framework.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
* Undergraduates in Engineering or any discipline from a recognized university.
* Negotiation & presentations skills.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include preparing databases and assisting with ongoing departmental projects. The intern will also support the team in factory integration, quick changeover processes to minimize production loss, and implementing special projects like Yamazumi for assigned modules.
