Intern ‐ Industrial Engineering (Based in Activewear - Vaanavil) The Activewear Value Stream delivers high-performance sportswear and athleisure solutions designed for technical functionality, durability and everyday versatility— serving sports, lifestyle and performance segments. Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS as we are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join the team as an Intern ‐ Industrial Engineering. Key Responsibilities * Continuously look for Ways to reduce machine requirement for layouts and ensure machines are available for production, prepare layout, Yamazumi. * Observe and escalate any abnormalities seen in shop floor and engage in resolving them. * support continuously by looking for automation options to de-skill the operation at pre-production stage and ensure the availability of the tech pack. * Assist to improve module capacity by applying required IE tools. * Support to ensure adherence to compliance, health and safety procedures during the entire physical/chemical testing processes to maintain zero accidents.   Qualifications  * Following a Degree in Physical Science, Engineering form a recognized University or NDT Diploma/SLITA/Textile Management. * Prefer textile and clothing background.  * No specific Industrial experience required. * Strong analytical skills with an innovation mindset with strong knowledge on Lean Manufacturing tools. * Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities
The intern will focus on reducing machine requirements through layout planning and Yamazumi while resolving shop floor abnormalities. They will also support automation initiatives and improve module capacity using industrial engineering tools.
