Description

Intern – Industrial Engineering (Based at MAS Intimates, Ratmalana) MAS Intimates, the largest division of MAS Holdings, provides design and manufacturing solutions for leading global lingerie brands. With design hubs in Hong Kong, London, and Sri Lanka, and manufacturing facilities across Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, and Kenya, it offers a diverse product portfolio, including bras, briefs, shapewear, performance wear, sleepwear, and wearable tech. Intimates’ customers include Victoria’s Secret, Gap, and Calvin Klein. The division's innovation teams collaborate with universities and experts to deliver consumer-driven, technology-led solutions. Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining the MAS Intimates as Intern – Industrial Engineering. This will be a great opportunity to further your subject knowledge and gain hands-on experience while accelerating your personal development. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure Tech Pack availability with PPA champion. Explore automation to simplify Pre-Production operations. Reduce machine requirements in layouts and confirm machine availability for production. Prepare layout, Yamazumi V1, and machine setting STW. Execute chassis base manufacturing. Optimize TM work content to boost productivity within the same footprint. Collaborate with Machine Design & Autonomation engineers to identify SMV reduction opportunities. Conduct mini bulk trials to validate optimized and automated solutions. Coordinate with internal/external suppliers to ensure automated solutions are ready across plants. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering / Engineering or a related field. Basic understanding of Industrial Engineering principles. Strong people management and teamwork skills. Familiarity with Value Engineering concepts.

Responsibilities

The intern will ensure Tech Pack availability and explore automation to simplify Pre-Production operations. They will also collaborate with engineers to identify opportunities for productivity improvement and conduct trials to validate solutions.
