Intern – Industrial Systems Engineering (Based at MAS Intimates, Ratmalana) MAS Intimates, the largest division of MAS Holdings, provides design and manufacturing solutions for leading global lingerie brands. With design hubs in Hong Kong, London, and Sri Lanka, and manufacturing facilities across Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, and Kenya, it offers a diverse product portfolio, including bras, briefs, shapewear, performance wear, sleepwear, and wearable tech. Intimates’ customers include Victoria’s Secret, Gap, and Calvin Klein. The division's innovation teams collaborate with universities and experts to deliver consumer-driven, technology-led solutions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Handle cost saving projects – maintenance related Support the team in handling Standard Minute Value (SMV) saving projects Arrange SOP for maintenance procedures Maintain factory stores’ standards Arrange building related drawings KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Undergraduate degree or Diploma in Engineering (NDT - Non-Destructive Testing), Maths, Stats Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and negotiation skills in English Ability to work in a team and adapt to a dynamic work environment
Responsibilities
The intern will handle cost-saving projects related to maintenance and support the team in Standard Minute Value (SMV) saving projects. Additionally, they will arrange standard operating procedures for maintenance and maintain factory store standards.
