REQUIREMENTS:

  • Pursuing a Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology / Cyber Security / Business Management or related discipline.
  • Able to commit full-time for at least minimum of 12 weeks.
  • Strong writing and content generation skills with excellent command of English.
  • Highly analytical and adept in applying Design Thinking principles.
  • Able to work independently in a dynamic environment while adhering to a stipulated timeline. Knowledge of information security technologies would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Threat Intelligence Collection & Analysis

  • Monitor open-source intelligence (OSINT), commercial feeds, and internal telemetry for emerging threats.
  • Assist in analyzing indicators of compromise (IOCs), tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
  • Support the development of threat profiles and adversary tracking.

Incident Response Support

  • Participate in triaging and investigating security alerts.
  • Document incident findings and assist in root cause analysis.
  • Contribute to post-incident reporting and knowledge base updates.

Threat Hunting & Detection Engineering

  • Assist in proactive threat hunting using SIEM and EDR tools.
  • Help identify gaps in detection coverage and suggest improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to test and validate detection rules.

Security Tool Usage & Automation

  • Gain hands-on experience with platforms such as, Sentinel, and CrowdStrike.
  • Support automation of repetitive tasks using scripting or playbooks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with SOC analysts, vulnerability management, and governance teams.
  • Participate in team meetings, threat briefings, and tabletop exercises.
