Job Summary: IT help desk intern will provide first-level technical support troubleshooting hardware software and network issues via phone email or chat. The primary responsibility is to resolve common problems efficiently or escalate complex incidents to specialized support teams ensuring minimal disruption for users and systems. Duties and Responsibilities: The following tasks are to be completed under the direct supervision of the Client Services Supervisor or Lead Technician: Serves as customer service liaison to NEXCOM end-users. Troubleshoots user computer problems and determines appropriate course of action to resolve user problems. Provides analytical technical and administrative input in the design installation and maintenance of new and existing PC Desktop systems. Assist in installation of new and relocation of existing systems as required. Ensure implement the rigorous application of Information Security Information Assurance policies principles and practices in the delivery of Systems Applications and or Services Hardware and Software Responsible for IT asset management reporting and recording all IT assets for all completed IT assignments. Interns job duties are specified in the Individual Assignment Plan developed by the hiring Code department. **APPLICATIONS WILL BEGIN TO BE REVIEWED BY THE HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT ON JANAURY 5, 2026** The applicant must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
