Here's an overview of some common responsibilities and activities for an intern in this area: IT Controls Testing: Assisting in the evaluation and testing of clients' IT systems and controls to ensure compliance with relevant standards and identify any risks or weaknesses. Data Analysis: Utilizing data analytics tools to examine large datasets, identify trends or anomalies, and provide insights that support the audit process. Cybersecurity Assessment: Supporting the assessment of clients' cybersecurity measures to ensure that their information assets are adequately protected against threats.
