JOB DESCRIPTION:

The primary role of the Inside Sales Intern is to generate qualified leads for the field/channel organizations as well as partner organizations. This is done using a combination of marketing/sales tools, research, and other programs that allow for a more targeted approach to lead development. The LOR will take leads from marketing, inside sales, and field sales research the lead/organization, make determination how to address the lead further.

There are three core elements of the Inside Sales Intern role:

  • Qualify inbound leads using a combination of internal and external resources
  • Be comfortable cold/warm call leads to gauge interest
  • Have enough proficiency in ALE products, services and messaging to garner next level interest of the lead

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong sales skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Independent work skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to learn key software applications
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Other duties and assignments as required
  • Passion for learning

  • Able to build rapport quickly over the phone

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ability to accurately determine lead quality based upon established criteria
  • Ability to effectively coordinate transition of leads through sales funnel
  • Assist in executing and optimizing the lead to close funnel
  • Partner across sales, channels, marketing, distributors and partners on call campaigns
  • Document calls to leads in SFDC, setup systemic reminders for follow up
  • Organize and manage call campaigns to achieve desired registration and attendance goals
  • Assess and determine required and/or necessary information from available data, research, outreach to improve lead score effectiveness
  • Expert in utilization/optimization of social media platforms and internet research
