Description We are seeking a motivated and curious intern to join our team for the summer. This position offers a hands-on introduction to the insurance industry and the opportunity to gain experience in a professional office environment. The role will primarily be based in our three offices - Provincetown, Wellfleet and Harwich Port. Responsibilities Assist the Commercial Insurance Manager with administrative tasks and special projects Provide support to the BY&D team with mailings and general office duties Shadow team members to gain exposure to various roles within the agency Participate in learning opportunities to build knowledge of the insurance industry What You’ll Gain Practical, real-world experience in a professional services environment Exposure to the day-to-day operations of an insurance agency Mentorship and guidance from experienced team members Opportunities to network and develop professional skills Requirements Actively working toward a college-level degree Previous office experience preferred but not required Strong organizational and communication skills Eagerness to learn, especially about the insurance industry Ability to travel between BY&D office locations as needed Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a plus
