We offer students the opportunity to spend a summer working at one of Securitas’ US Operating Centers. This internship program offers undergraduate students with real-world application of business within the North America Shared Services organization. You will participate in an 11-week internship located in Parsippany, New Jersey for 32-40 hours per week and working a hybrid schedule. As an Internal Communications Intern, you will gain valuable work experience and skills supporting the Internal Communications team.  Successful completion of the internship program could lead to a return internship for the following summer or employment at the organization in the future.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Schedule and publish content across internal channels • Create new dashboards, monitor engagement, and report performance • Support internal campaigns and initiatives • Maintain asset libraries and templates • Lead a focused AI enablement workstream to expand department capacity (researching tools, piloting use cases, drafting guidance, and supporting the integration of AI solutions that enhance internal communications workflows and employee engagement).   MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY: Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position. Education/Experience: • High school diploma or GED • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing): • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with Microsoft 365 Teams is a plus • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and resolve issues • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively   WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: With or without reasonable accommodation, a candidate must have the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions described. Responsibilities
