ParkView Partners (“ParkView”) is a German, partner-led investment banking boutique focusing on complex, large- to mid-cap M&A transactions and public takeovers. We provide unbiased advice to corporates and financial investors on mergers & acquisitions, public takeovers, activism defense and other strategic finance decisions. Our senior leadership consists of seasoned investment banking professionals from leading global financial institutions who have advised on some of the most prominent M&A transactions and public takeovers in the DACH region.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor (advanced) or Master Student (m/f/d) in Finance, Economics, Management, or related disciplines with strong academic track-record
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure with focus on high quality outcomes and attention to detail ? Strong quantitative and analytical skills, ability to think strategically as well as self-confidence and self-motivation
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially in Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Previous experiences in relevant internships in investment banking, private equity and / or strategy consulting ? Written and verbal communication skills in German and English
Responsibilities

As an intern, you will work in a challenging and intellectually stimulating environment alongside experienced investment banking professionals on large- to mid-cap M&A transactions and other advisory assignments, with a focus on public takeovers. You will get full deal exposure and will be part of transaction teams from day one. Our hands-on approach will provide you with the ability to gain first-hand experience and help you to develop strong technical as well as professional skills.

Your work will include, inter alia:

  • Participation in deal execution, including supporting the team in preparation of presentations for client meetings, board presentations, management presentations as well as transaction related documents like teaser, info memo or data room
  • Fundamental market and business research and analysis in the context of M&A transactions
  • Support detailed valuation analysis, including DCF, trading multiple, comparable transaction multiple and LBO analysis
  • Participating in transaction processes and communication with deal team members
