Intern (m/f/d) Accounting
Our international and agile team is searching for a motivated Intern (m/f/d) Accounting to join us for an internship in the Finance Department. You will play a vital role in supporting the accounting department, particularly in preparing and processing incoming invoices. Your work will help ensure the smooth flow of financial operations and compliance with tax and invoicing regulations.

Your Tasks

• Accurately entering and digitizing incoming invoices into our system
• Reviewing incoming invoices to ensure compliance with tax invoicing obligations
• Matching invoices with purchase orders to confirm accuracy
• Assisting with the verification and follow-up on payment reminders
• Performing preparatory tasks for the accounting department to facilitate timely and accurate financial reporting
• Following up on missing incoming invoices and ensuring timely receipt
• Requesting corrections or updates to invoices when necessary
• Monitoring old orders with outstanding or missing invoices and taking action to resolve discrepancies

Your Qualifications

• Enrollment in a relevant degree program (e.g., finance, accounting, business administration) or completion of similar education
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document handling
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, coupled with the ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles is a plus
• Fluent in German- reading and writing (at least B2)
• Fluent in English- reading and writing (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
