Responsibilities
  • Your tasks include the preparation, execution, and evaluation of numerical flow simulations (CFD) in the field of hydraulic turbines.
  • You support the selection of the meshing strategy, the numerical modeling, and the automation of the post-processing.
  • You analyze the turbine characteristics with regard to different operating ranges and compare the numerical results with measurement data obtained from real turbines or in the in-house measurement laboratory.
  • You collaborate with experts from simulation, measurement technology, hydraulic design, and strength calculation across different disciplines.
  • Your work contributes to supporting the energy transition.
