Job Role/Purpose We are primarily looking for a forward-thinking and results-oriented Intern – Investment Controlling and Valuation (m/f/d). This position will be based in our Munich office and should have a duration of at least 6 months, starting in March 2026. In this role you will be assisting in the quarterly valuation validation process and ongoing monitoring of indirect portfolio of Allianz Capital Partners in Private Equity and Private Debt Funds, in close collaboration with the other governance functions. What you do Monitoring of existing fund investments, including review of quarterly financial statements Support in the onboarding of new investment strategies and funds from a valuation perspective Preparation of presentations for senior management, Allianz committees and external investors Carrying out market and competitor analyses, including sector insights and comparable transactions Ad hoc projects on valuation, governance frameworks and long-term planning of fund investments What you bring Advanced studies in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a comparable degree program specialized in corporate finance or investment controlling First internship experience preferably in the areas of investment banking, corporate finance or investment controlling Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint, PowerBI knowledge is a plus Strong analytical skills and a structured, independent work style A high level of motivation, excellent communication skills and strong team spirit Written and oral proficiency in English required, working knowledge of German is a plus What we offer “New Normal”, it’s not news to us: As a global company, we’ve known the hybrid model before it was ‘in’.
