Job Description Assist L1/L2 engineers with daily IT tasks and respond to user requests under supervision while ensuring all incidents and service requests are logged in the ticketing system. Support basic troubleshooting activities by assisting in resolving hardware issues such as PCs, laptops, and printers, as well as supporting software installations and updates. Assist users with password resets and account unlocks while performing basic network checks, including LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity. Contribute to system maintenance by assisting in IT asset inventory management, monitoring system performance and backup statuses, and supporting patch updates and antivirus checks. Maintain proper documentation by creating and updating simple troubleshooting guides, documenting resolved issues, and assisting in developing IT knowledge base articles. Generate reports on tickets, system usage, and incidents as required to support operational tracking and decision-making. Gain hands-on experience in IT support and system administration while learning to use ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and Freshservice. Develop an understanding of Active Directory, email systems, and networking fundamentals by working closely with experienced engineers. Shadow L1/L2 engineers to understand escalation procedures and problem-solving workflows within the organization. Perform day-to-day tasks such as logging tickets, assisting users with access issues, installing or updating software under supervision, and carrying out basic troubleshooting for hardware and software issues. Monitor system alerts and backup statuses under guidance while documenting learnings and procedures for continuous improvement. Person Specification Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Strong interest in IT infrastructure management Basic knowledge of networking, operating systems, and databases Good analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team environment Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
