Intern - Manufacturing   Location: Chesapeake, VA, 23323 POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Intern to join our team in Chesapeake, VA. This internship offers hands-on experience in manufacturing processes, work instruction development, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will assist in developing and verifying work instructions for equipment and processes, as well as support the evaluation and modification of process cycle times and routing changes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Assist in the development and documentation of work instructions for manufacturing equipment and processes. * Support verification and modification of process cycle times to improve efficiency and accuracy. * Help evaluate and implement routing changes within the manufacturing process. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process compliance and continuous improvement. * Participate in data collection and analysis related to manufacturing operations. * Contribute to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. QUALIFICATIONS * Currently pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. * Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to analyze process data and suggest improvements. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
