The Opportunity Are you looking to gain hands-on marketing experience for your degree in an international healthcare company? As a Marketing Intern, you will support regional marketing initiatives while developing practical and technical skills across branding, digital marketing, events, communications, and commercial operations. This internship offers an excellent learning opportunity for highly motivated students who are eager to grow in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. It is based full-time, onsite at our Delkenheim-Wiesbaden location (Abbott GmbH – 1106), within international commercial operations of our diagnostics business. The role reports to the regional Marketing Director, providing direct access to leadership and mentoring. What You’ll Do Support regional marketing campaigns, internal communications, and customer engagement initiatives Coordinate marketing materials, translations, presentations, and branding updates Assist with the organization of events, webinars, training sessions, and trade shows Help create digital content, newsletters, reports, and visual assets aligned with Abbott branding guidelines Support digital marketing activities, including campaign coordination and Salesforce Marketing Cloud administration Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams on marketing projects and new ideas Contribute to performance tracking and reporting across various marketing initiatives Qualifications & Experience Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field Strong career interest in marketing, digital communications, and brand management in the healthcare industry Excellent organizational skills with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset Strong communication skills in English and German Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, or digital marketing tools is a plus Most important is your eagerness to learn quickly, collaborate, and grow within a fast-paced international environment Working at Abbott At Abbott, you can do work that matters and help people live healthier and fuller lives.
