Sony Pictures Entertainment is a ‘big six’ studio responsible for blockbuster films such as Spiderman and Ghostbusters and legendary TV Shows such as Breaking Bad and The Crown. The role of Marketing & Sales Intern will support both the Marketing and the Sales functions in Italy on B2B marketing campaigns to support sales of TV product, and direct-to-consumer marketing campaigns and product launches for Home Entertainment.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for candidates currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communication, or Economics. Passion for pop culture, entertainment industry and internet trends are essential to this role.

This is an exciting opportunity to experience the fast-paced multinational environment of commercial film and TV distribution. The role will have opportunities for development and involvement in a mixture of creative direction and branding, events, B2B marketing, influencer marketing and performance and insight tracking.
Over the course of the placement we will aim to give you a solid grounding in the key elements of the TV Distribution and Home entertainment industry, developing your understanding of B2B relationships, creative development and approvals, marketing campaign development, and giving you confidence to present creative ideas in a professional context.
Sales activities will be essential part of the internship, such as (but not limited to) liaising with clients with respect to content queries; supporting Sales Department throughout deals lifecycle and ad hoc projects; maintaining internal tracking documents; assisting the TV Format Sales business; participation in pitch meetings to clients and local Screenings.
