Position: Intern, Mechanical Engineering Location: Irvine, CA - Onsite Position Description: DZYNE Technologies is building a highly skilled team that thrives in the creation of counter unmanned aerial systems. The candidate will work in a rapid development environment where the project will progress from design, fabrication, assembly and test phases in a short period of time. Required Skills, Qualification and Education: * General knowledge of mechanical engineering principles * Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering technical information (e.g. drawings, handbooks, industry standards and specifications) * Experience with CAD software * An interest in aerospace and defense Education: * Degree in process and typical experience in engineering classification; Bachelor of Science - Engineering degree preferred Travel: none Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: * Ability to work in a standard office environment, using computers and other office equipment. * Capability to travel to field sites, including manufacturing facilities, test sites, or operational environments. * Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. occasionally for handling technical equipment or documentation. Working Conditions: The diversity of work conditions may range from an environment with little or no physical discomfort, such as a general office environment, to an environment where inclement weather may be subject to severe changes in temperature, wind, rain, etc. Work Authorization Requirement: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship. Hourly Rate: $27.00 an hour Hourly rate depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus. Responsibilities

The intern will support the creation of counter unmanned aerial systems within a rapid development environment. Responsibilities include participating in the design, fabrication, assembly, and testing phases of projects.
