Intern – Merchandising (BASED AT PELAWATTA) Linea Aqua is a swimwear manufacturer, established as a joint venture between MAS Holdings and Speedo International in 2001. Linea Aqua operates across Sri Lanka and Vietnam, and in addition to swimwear, also offers activewear solutions to select customers, providing a comprehensive service across performance and lifestyle categories. Along with servicing its joint venture partner, Speedo, the company also services premier international brands such as In Private, Aerie, and Land’s End, and is the go-to manufacturer for high-performance swimwear worn by Olympic athletes. Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to collaborate with internal teams to develop new sample developments such as pre-production, fit sample. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with internal teams to develop new sample developments such as pre-production, fit sample. Identify and ordering Raw materials including trims and fabrics required for sample development stages. Maintain good relationship with external suppliers in order to make smooth delivering process. Maintain accurate records of orders and other relevant information, ensuring compliance with internal policies. Identify and process new product sample requirements by using customer tech packs. Monitor inventory levels for sample development, forecasting demand and coordinating with PDC. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Graduate or Undergraduate in Marketing, Business management or relevant field. SAP, customer PLM, One PLM systems and applications usage. Energetic and able to work independently. Strong / effective communication skill.
Responsibilities
The intern will collaborate with internal teams to develop new sample developments, including pre-production and fit samples. They will also maintain relationships with suppliers and manage inventory levels for sample development.
