Intern – Merchandising (Based at Ayathi, Biyagama) MAS Intimates, the largest division of MAS Holdings, provides design and manufacturing solutions for leading global lingerie brands. With design hubs in Hong Kong, London, and Sri Lanka, and manufacturing facilities across Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, and Kenya, it offers a diverse product portfolio, including bras, briefs, shapewear, performance wear, sleepwear, and wearable tech. Intimates’ customers include Victoria’s Secret, Gap, and Calvin Klein. The division's innovation teams collaborate with universities and experts to deliver consumer-driven, technology-led solutions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Managing communications and transactions with overseas suppliers Preparing detailed bills of materials with precision and accuracy Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely sample completion Monitoring raw material stock levels and ensuring timely replenishment Complying with internal process requirements to maintain operational efficiency KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business Management, or professional qualifications such as CIM High IT literacy. Basic proficiency in Excel, with the ability to manage and analyze data efficiently. Communication and Negotiation skills
Responsibilities
