Description
This job is an internship for Business & Logistics students. You would learn from our senior experts and work in Ocean Freight Department. You might like this job because it offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various areas of the department and learn from experienced professionals. During this internship, your daily job scope consists of different area within the department of Ocean Freight. General correspondences with customer, suppliers, agents, and other inter-department for ocean freight movements. Monitor and coordinate export & import ocean freight movements. Prepare relevant documentation for customer. Coordinate routine customer reports. Maintain records and filing as per ISO requirements and standards. Respond to internal enquiries and complaints and coordinate with other department on ocean freight needs. Monitor internal data & system compliance. To be successful in this internship, these are the requirements: Diploma and/or Degree in Logistics, Transportation, and/or Business Studies with minor in logistics and supply chain. Intake for Jan 2026 onwards. It will be added advantage if you have previous experience dealing with customers. Being able to write and speak professionally in English. Familiar with Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook). This internship location is at Iskandar Puteri, Johor.
