Description

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: * Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders and manage open PO reports effectively * Collaborate with suppliers for order acknowledgements, confirmations, and delivery commitments * Maintain accurate ERP updates, including confirmation dates and material master data * Partner with plant teams to resolve PO-related queries and ensure alignment * Analyze supply-demand requirements and release materials to maintain optimal inventory levels * Execute and manage system exception messages (expedite, defer, etc.) in ERP systems such as SAP/Oracle * Coordinate with suppliers to track deliveries, maintain promise dates, and improve reliability * Work closely with global stakeholders to ensure material availability and continuity * Support supplier relationship management initiatives and enhance supplier performance * Collaborate with finance teams to ensure timely supplier payments * Manage material master setup, audits, and data accuracy within ERP systems * Handle MRO procurement activities from requisition to PO conversion * Validate supplier lead times and ensure alignment with delivery commitments * Support reporting requirements for customers, suppliers, and management reviews * Escalate supply or delivery issues proactively to planning and supply chain teams * Resolve invoice discrepancies by working on parked or blocked invoice reports * Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and delivery performance while supporting inventory goals Who You Are: You hold yourself and others accountable to meet commitments and consistently deliver results.
