Job Details Job Location: PHOENIX PAPER WICKLIFFE LLC - Wickliffe, KY 42087 Position Type: Internship Phoenix Paper Wickliffe LLC is searching for qualified candidates to assume the role of Intern. Reporting directly to their department manager, the Intern position is an opportunity to get on-the-job training and knowledge in a heavy manufacturing industry while pursuing your degree/certificate. This is a paid internship opportunity; We will not provide housing or transportation assistance. Candidates must present transcripts prior to a formal offer being extended. Interns will engage in various work assignments, projects, and activities of varying complexity, structured to enable the intern to gain the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform at a professional level. Key responsibilities of the Intern position include, but are not limited to, the following: Participates in projects and programs designed to develop professional skills and expertise appropriate to the needs of the organization. Plans and implements projects and initiatives within area of expertise. Receives guidance, training, and mentoring from professional personnel in planning and carrying out activities and assignments. Education and/or Experience: Actively acquiring a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Professional Certificate Junior class level or higher preferred Eager to learn and work with various departments at Phoenix Paper Proficient in Microsoft Office Clear written and verbal communications Strong time management skills Able to maintain confidential information Able to respond to, interact and collaborate with clients, vendors/suppliers, and co-workers Self-starter, with the ability to work independently and as a team member Phoenix Paper Wickliffe LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
