Reporting to Head of Sourcing, the intern shall be immersed in the dynamics of the procurement process, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations. This role shall be supporting and assisting the day-to-day procurement operation following the company policies and standard procedures. SCOPE OF WORK/RESPONSIBILITIES Assist team member to perform evaluation on commercial proposal submitted by vendors, based on given guidance. support business user to structure PO for different spend category, based on guideline provided by line manager. Assist team member to do cost analysis and price benchmarking as preparation for commercial negotiation (hotel room rate, standard rate negotiation for contingent workers, spend analysis for renewal of medical & travel assistance services etc.). Utilize ERP system tool (Coupa) and Microsoft Office suite for data analysis and report generation. Assist team members in managing contracts & services owned by Sourcing team (travel services, printer, mobile phone line). REQUIREMENTS Pursuing Bachelor or Professional Degree in any fields, preferably Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Finance. Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. A proactive approach to learning and a keen interest in procurement and supply chain operations LEARNING OUTCOMES Exposure to real-world procurement challenges and solutions.
