OPPORTUNITY The Commercial and Multi-Family Property Accounting Intern Analyst will work closely with the Property Accounting Assistant Controllers through various tasks related to project accounting, financial reporting, bank draws, partner distributions and ad hoc projects. The ideal candidate should be pursuing a degree in accounting with an interest in real estate. Hours Per Week: 15-30 (40 hours Winter/Summer) Start Date: January 2026 End Date: July 2026 or no later than December 31, 2026 Wages: $20/hr. | $25/hr. for MBA students Degree Type: Accounting Degree Academic Level: Rising Junior working toward a graduate degree, Seniors graduating May or December of 2026 or MBA Candidate KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES The activities listed here are not all-inclusive; rather, they indicate the types of activities normally performed by this position. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate core competencies in the following areas: Preparation of variance analysis utilizing Excel/MRI Assist with the creation of financial reporting packages Must be able to work in a fast-paced organization and be a self-starter Must be familiar with accrual accounting Assist with monthly management fee calculations, quarterly distributions and incentive fee calculations Learn and complete the full monthly accounting cycle Cash and balance sheet reconciliations WHAT ABOUT THE PERKS?
