We are looking for a motivated intern eager to learn about public relations and media communications in the technology sector.About the role - you will: Support the PR team in building Seagate’s brand visibility in India and IMETA (India, Middle East Turkey Africa) region. Your focus will be on India Assist with media relations, help prepare communication materials, and learn how technology stories are shared with the public Assist in preparing press releases, pitches, and media kits Help monitor media coverage and compile reports for the PR team Support the organization of media events, press conferences, and other PR activities Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging is consistent Conduct research on industry trends and media outlets in India Help maintain databases of media contacts and coverage Shadow and support executive spokespersons during media interactions Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for positive media coverage About you: Strong interest in media relations and technology Good written and verbal communication skills Willingness to learn and take initiative Ability to work in a team and follow instructions Organizational skills and attention to detail Your experience includes: Currently pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field Multilingual abilities (English and Middle Eastern languages/dialects) are a plus Location: Pune, India Our site in Pune is dynamic, both in our cutting-edge, innovative work, as well as our vibrant on-site food, and athletic and personal development opportunities for our employees.
