Please review the job details below. Lanteris Space is seeking a Reliability Engineering Intern for our Palo Alto, CA office location. In this role, you will be working alongside Lanteris reliability engineers to support various system and unit reliability analysis tasks. Using your mathematical and analytical skills, your duties include helping reliability staff perform reliability studies of Lanteris satellites on-orbit reliability performance and develop tools to facilitate the studies. Understanding the reliability performance of Lanteris satellites in operation will help improve future designs. If time allows, additional duties are performing reliability numerical analyses and/or failure modes and effects analyses on development units for use on space programs. Minimum requirements for this position: Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with completion of 2 years or more, or currently enrolled in a master's degree program in electrical, mechanical or aerospace engineering, mathematics, physics, or related discipline Understanding of basic statistics principles Preferred Qualifications: Python programming experience or coursework Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint Strong verbal, written communication and organization skills The base pay for this position within California is: $28.00 - $31.00 hourly The salary range listed is based on two years or more of completed studies. This range will vary based on the number of years of experience and work location.
