Job Description Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to earn while you learn? The L&G Responsible Investing internship is an 8-week programme, running from June to August. During this time, you’ll have the chance to develop your skills, gain valuable insights, and get hands-on work experience. Responsible investing and active ownership are core to our approach: our very purpose in Asset Management is to create a better future through responsible investing. Dedicated teams work together and across the organisation to integrate environmental, social and governance factors into our investment and stewardship activities, across the asset classes and the varied spectrum of our clients’ objectives. These include active ownership and stewardship activities (including actioning voting rights of the shares we hold); company, market and thematic research; investment processes and solutions, across all asset classes and investment styles. Our teams develop the policies, frameworks and strategies that drive our engagement with companies and governments, how we assess sustainability within our investment portfolios, and the products we offer to meet our clients’ sustainability objectives. What you might work on During your 8-week placement in June and August, you’ll: Kick off with an induction to introduce you to L&G and prepare for an exciting internship Engage with different teams and gain insights from various departments Learn from senior speakers Network with fellow interns and build lasting connections You will be assigned to one of our Responsible Investment teams for your 8-week placement. No prior industry experience is required, but we’ll want to see that you have the tools to develop quickly. These include: On track for a 2.1 Degree with a preferable focus on environmental and/or social related topics In your penultimate of university (i.e. graduating in 2027) Strong quantitate skills and analytical mind-set Curious, motivated and have a desire to learn more about a career in Investment Management!
