Location: Ecoworld, Bellandu, Bangalore Work type: (5 days Work from office) Role Overview: We are looking for a highly technical Process Engineering Intern to help automate and scale risk operations. This role focuses on building system-driven solutions that reduce manual effort, improve control, and strengthen our risk response framework. You will work closely with Risk, Ops, and Product teams to convert manual workflows into automated tools, dashboards, and intelligent decision-support systems. What You Will Do: Build automation tools to eliminate manual workflows across risk operations Develop bulk action capabilities (e.g., bulk merchant/feature controls) within internal tools like Retool or CRM systems Enable system-driven controls (with proper audit trails) Create real-time tracker to replace spreadsheet-based tracking Design structured monitoring solutions to support regulatory and compliance requirements. Work on internal tools, APIs, and data pipelines that improve risk team efficiency What You Will Need: Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, IT, AI, Data Science, or related fields) Strong programming fundamentals in Java/ JavaScript Working knowledge of Python and SQL for data handling and automation Understanding of data structures, system design basics, and APIs Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills Interest in AI/ML/LLM applications in real-world operational systems Good to have: Experience building internal tools, dashboards, or workflow automation Exposure to Retool, low-code tools, or internal ops platforms Familiarity with REST APIs, databases, and backend logic Basic understanding of risk, fraud, fintech, or payments domain Experience experimenting with LLMs or AI-based classification/automation use cases What You’ll Gain: Hands-on experience solving real operational risk problems at scale Exposure to fintech risk, fraud prevention, and compliance systems Opportunity to build tools that are used daily by risk teams Mentorship from Risk and Product leaders
