Description The Shipping & Receiving Intern supports the Shipping & Receiving team and Materials Management in maintaining stockroom inventories, receiving materials from suppliers, shipping product to customers, and kitting jobs for the Production team. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in supply chain, logistics, and warehouse operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. As an intern, you will: Assist in preparing documentation, maintaining records, and coordinating logistics for product shipments Support scheduling and coordination of domestic and international freight forwarder transactions Help prepare shipping paperwork and complete shipping transactions in the ERP system Prepare boxes with appropriate labels for shipment as required Assist in creating pick worksheets (kits) for open job shop orders Receive raw material from vendors and help maintain stockroom inventories Participate in cycle counts as required Requirements Eagerness to learn ERP systems and accurately record transactions High degree of attention to detail and accuracy in all job responsibilities Ability to meet the physical demands of the position (lifting, standing for extended periods) Strong organizational skills and a task-driven work style Exposure to or interest in ITAR regulations is a plus Requirements Education & Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Person Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a high school, vocational program, or post-secondary institution High School Diploma or equivalent required (or actively pursuing one) No prior experience required — a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are what matter most
