JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a creative and trend-savvy Marketing Intern, currently enrolled in marketing, communications, or science related field, to join our team for a hands-on experience in a vibrant, collaborative environment.
Working with marketing specialists locally and globally, you’ll be instrumental in developing and implementing creative social media content, like copywriting, visuals, and short videos.
This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to engage in a wide range of marketing activities, from content creation to analytics, ensuring a rich, practical learning experience.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • General science knowledge preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly creative, with a keen eye for design and storytelling, and an analytical mindset.
  • Articulate, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Persuasive, resilient and flexible, able to easily adapt to new challenges
  • Self-motivated, confident, with a positive attitude
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in marketing, communications, and social media management
  • Basic video editing and design skills, with proficiency in software such as Canva, or similar tools

EDUCATION

  • Undergraduate or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or Science related fields

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, developing and executing social media content that align with the company’s strategic focuses and purpose, and target audience preferences
  • Create and curate engaging, relevant content for social media platforms, including infographics, videos, and written posts
  • Conduct ongoing research on the latest social media trends, content strategies, and best practices to ensure a dynamic and effective social media presence
  • Monitor, track, and analyze analytics for our social media pages to identify growth opportunities and optimize outreach and engagement
  • Provide support in creating marketing collaterals and other ad-hoc projects
