Position Overview
Autodesk is seeking a highly motivated intern Software Developer for AutoCAD toolsets team. This position offers the opportunity to redesign and reimplement key features in AutoCAD Architecture product, by replacing old Jet OLE driver technology with SQLite DB.

Responsibilities

• Get a good understanding of the architecture, code and dependencies of existing features
• Come up with a strategy to replace the usage of Jet OLE driver technology with SQLite DB (with guidance from mentor)
• Develop, build and test the code changes
• Implement unit tests and update existing automations, as required
• Document the technical details for future reference
• Keep stake holders up to date with the progress of work

Minimum Qualifications

• You must be enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s program in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or other relevant fields
• You must either be in your penultimate or final year of studies, and will be graduating in 2026 or 2027

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of object-oriented concepts, data structures and algorithms
• Good knowledge of OOP languages - C++ and C#
• Passion for developing robust software and writing maintainable code
• Familiarity with software development methodology like SCRUM
• Keen interest in learning new tools and technologies
• Fluent oral and written communication skills in English language
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude

The Ideal Candidate

• Be well familiar with object-oriented programming concepts (OOP)
• Have experience of programming using C++ & C#

• Be familiar with development tools like Visual Studio & GitHub
• Have strong desire to learn and innovate
