Role Overview We are looking for a motivated and versatile Software Development & QA Intern to join the teleCARE IP team. This role is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience across both software development and quality assurance, contributing to the delivery of robust and scalable healthcare communication solutions. The intern will collaborate closely with developers and QA engineers, supporting implementation, testing, and continuous improvement across multiple technology stacks. Key Responsibilities Development Support - Assist in developing and maintaining features across backend and frontend systems - Contribute to code implementation using technologies such as: C++, Java, C#, PHP, JavaScript, SQL databases - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following team standards - Support debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization of existing applications - Participate in code reviews and team discussions Quality Assurance Support - Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases - Assist with test planning, test execution, and defect reporting - Validate new features and bug fixes across different environments - Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues - Contribute to test automation frameworks (where applicable) - Help ensure product quality, stability, and performance Requirements Technical Skills - Basic knowledge of: C++, Java, C#, PHP, JavaScript, SQL - Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) - Familiarity with testing concepts (manual or automated) is a plus - Knowledge of Git or version control systems Education - Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar field Soft Skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Eagerness to learn across both development and QA domains - Attention to detail and quality mindset - Good communication and teamwork skills - Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment Nice to Have - Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Selenium) - Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, APIs) - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies - Interest in healthcare or communication platforms What You Will Gain - Hands-on experience in both software development and QA engineering - Exposure to a multi-technology stack in real-world products - Mentorship from experienced engineers - Opportunity to contribute to impactful healthcare solutions - Insight into industry-standard tools, processes, and best practices
