INTERN – SOFTWARE ENGINEER Application Deadline: December 1, 2025 DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Contribute to Nintendo’s Digital Marketing team on the development, integration and maintenance of our flagship GraphQL server that powers Nintendo.com Partner closely with backend developers and DevOps to deliver seamless, end-to-end solutions Work on key initiatives to bridge data from backend services Develop new features and aid in the maintenance of existing applications Support internal tools and frameworks SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS: 3.0+ GPA Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a graduation conferral date between May 2026 and June 2027 Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Familiar with web frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue and Node.js Familiar with front-end web technologies (JavaScript/Typescript, HTML, and/or CSS) Knowledge of data structures and algorithms Experience with software development skills and understanding of modern web technologies to develop web applications Able to articulate technical challenges and solutions effectively Legally authorized to work in the United States Able to work 40 hours a week onsite throughout the course of the 10-week summer internship between June 15 – August 21 A completed Internship Questionnaire following application This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time. This internship includes a base pay rate of $30 per hour, paid sick and safe time, and perks such as a local transit pass and access to the onsite fitness center.
