Working Location: 990 Bendemeer Road, Singapore 339942 Department Storage Product Group - SSD Firmware Development Project Title SSD Firmware Development for Enterprise Storage Device Project Description: The SSD firmware development internship program aims to provide students with training and practical experiences in designing and developing high-performance controller firmware for data center and enterprise products, paving the way for a full-time opportunity in the embedded software engineering field. Scope: In this project, the student will learn - Agile Software Development processes and practices Microcontroller and Peripherals, NAND Technology, Storage Interface Protocols (NVME and PCIe), Storage Security Hands-on embedded C programming/debugging in a multicore platform Firmware development and debugging tools (e.g., Python, Linux) Deliverable: To enhance, design, implement, and test high quality firmware features of an embedded software or firmware product Skillset Required: Embedded Programming / C Programming Courses of Interest: Computer Architecture Compiler Design Real Time Operating Systems Embedded Software Design Duration: 6 months Impact: You will innovate to solve challenges for next gen storage applications used in data centers
