Description Under supervision, interns at Steinberg Hart rotate through a variety of projects to gain exposure to a cross section of the firm’s practice areas as well as through all phases of projects. Responsibilities Creating and assembling client deliverables utilizing CAD, Revit, Sketchup, Illustrator, etc. Generating plan layouts, elevations and sections in collaboration with projects’ design staff and Design Directors Material, code, vendor and supplier research Physical model building including 3D printer and laser cutting Assisting the Marketing Department with general graphics and project pursuits Assisting project teams with construction administration tasks and site-visits Requirements Qualifications Enrollment in a School of Architecture, Interior Architecture or aligned Degree Program Basic knowledge of architectural building systems Basic understanding of the arrangement of working drawings, as well as structural, mechanical and electrical systems Desire to learn, accept direction, and be mentored Work effectively within a collaborative team environment Strong verbal, written and graphic communication skills Basic knowledge in all relevant computer software: AutoCAD 2014 or later Microsoft Office Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Modeling: SketchUp or Rhino preferred Rendering: 3D Studio Max or Maxwell Render preferred Building Information Modeling: Revit (preferred)
Responsibilities
