For more information, visit www.gf.com. Introduction: We are looking for a Supply Chain Intern to join our Global Supply Chain (GSC) team based in Penang. This role provides accelerated training in a fast-paced work environment, cross-functional working opportunities, mentorship, networking, and leadership opportunities. This Intern will build cost models including should-cost, input cost model, supplier performance ratings, etc. as well as maintaining a database of cost and supply chain related data. Your Job: Support analysis in the aspect of cost, Business Continuity Plan (BCP), audit and compliance Develop database to host raw material or factor input indices; update and maintain the data in a timely and accurate manner Develop cost models including modeling of wafer processing costs based on changes to Materials or Equipment costs Provide support on supplier profiling, supplier ratings, supplier relationship management activities, and driving actions Work on other projects and/or assignments as needed based on aligned timelines and deliverables Other Responsibilities: Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs Required Qualifications: Education – individual pursuing Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, business management, supply chain or related field from an accredited degree program Good academic standing – at least 3.0 GPA and above Fluency in English Language – written & verbal Preferred Qualifications: Prior internship or co-op experience in a related domain will be an added advantage Demonstrated leadership experience and strong planning & organization skills in school projects, competitions, etc. Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity Strong written and verbal communication skills #InternshipProgramMYS GlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
